Reference is made to the stock exchange release of Okeanis Eco Tankers Corp. (“OET” or the “Company”) dated 30 November 2021 regarding the Company’s intention to buyback up to $5.0 million of its own shares.
OET has purchased 122,573 of its own shares at an average price of NOK 71.00 per share during the last seven trading days.
Since 30 November 2021, the Company has bought back 181,809 of its own shares for an aggregate consideration of ~$1.5 million.
Following these transactions, OET owns 695,892 of its own shares representing 2.12% of its issued share capital. The purchased shares will be held as treasury
stock.
OET will continue to consider additional share buybacks in the market up to $5.0 million inclusive of the above purchases.
